Matt and Jess were married on the 14th August 2021 on Jess’s family estate in Kendal, Cumbria, surrounded by the most beautiful countryside and their closest family and friends. Their day was relaxed, romantic, and deeply personal, with a stunning marquee reception set within the grounds of her childhood home.

As a wedding florist, it was such a privilege to create soft, romantic wedding flowers that complemented both the natural setting and Jess’s timeless bridal style.

Soft, Romantic Bridal Bouquet Design

Jess’s bridal bouquet was designed using a delicate, romantic palette of blush pink, soft ivory, and fresh green tones. The bouquet featured a beautiful mix of:

  • Garden roses

  • Spray roses

  • Lisianthus

  • Hydrangea

  • Astilby

  • Seasonal foliage including eucalyptus

The overall design was soft, natural, and timeless, perfectly complementing her elegant gown and the relaxed countryside setting.

This style of bouquet is perfect for brides planning a romantic marquee wedding, country estate wedding, or luxury garden wedding.

Bridesmaids Flowers

The bridesmaids carried smaller bouquets designed to complement Jess’s flowers, featuring the same roses, lisianthus, and soft seasonal textures. Their rich burgundy dresses provided the perfect contrast to the soft blush tones of the flowers, creating a beautifully balanced and cohesive bridal party look.

This soft, layered floral style works beautifully for modern, romantic summer weddings throughout Berkshire, Surrey, Hampshire, and the surrounding areas.

Romantic Marquee Summer Wedding Flowers

The reception took place in a beautiful marquee overlooking the rolling Cumbrian countryside. The floral designs were created to enhance the space without overwhelming it, keeping everything feeling natural, elegant, and in harmony with the surroundings.

Table centrepieces featured seasonal flowers and fresh foliage, designed to reflect the relaxed luxury of the day.

Marquee weddings offer a completely blank canvas, and flowers play such an important role in transforming the space and creating atmosphere.

Kind Words

“The floral design was absolutely stunning and elevated the entire look of our wedding. Everything felt so considered and beautifully balanced, from my bouquet to the table arrangements.

Catey was calm, professional and so lovely to work with throughout the whole process. I trusted her completely, and the results were beyond anything we could have imagined.”- Jess

It was such a joy to create wedding flowers for Matt and Jess and be part of such a beautiful and personal celebration.
